Journal Notes

I saw a front cover of a book for sale and couldnt stop thinking about the quilt, so I bought it. I had a lot of fun picking out and buying various fat quarters for it. I procrastinated over cutting the fabric for months. It eventually took me 3 days to cut all the fabric, it taught me not to over think and just get on with it. I machine pieced it together during retreats and hand quilted it using DMC thread and masking tape. I was told the back looks lovely and I could reverse it, I want to use the front, I want my work to be I seen. I learnt a lot from this quilt and the curve sewing was easy enough. I really enjoyed making this quilt and am happy with the final result.bthe binding was ready made from Joanne's in America.
