Journal Notes

I had made quilts for some of my niece’s grandbabies but realized I did not make one for the oldest. When he was four, I decided he needed a quilt from me, too. I had the I Spy idea but decided to add some interest and make it a matching game, as well. So, each end of the quilt have identical blocks separate by the green sashing in the center. When he got it, his mom told me he ditched the blanket he had been sleeping with for four years to use this one instead. My heart melted!
