New to the Guild, a member, Val, and I were hanging at the back of the room as they showed completed community quilts for the month, including a Llama one. I said it was cute and Val said she had the pattern and some fabric and would never end up making it so she’d bring to me next time. The pattern recommends Essex fabric by Kaufman so I ordered some. Although I used it, I didn’t like working with it nor the way it looks.
