Journal Notes

This has been a hard one. I started it a long time ago and have put off finishing because I decided to make the curves with inset circles instead of quarter circles, and it’s hard! 2026 is my year though, it’s getting done. This was a design I made based on some mosaics on the exterior of the duomo in Florence. 3/28/26 I finished the quilt top at the Sew Simply Stitched Retreat and am now trying to decide on quilting. I think I’ll do edge-to-edge because I have a lot of points that got cut off and/or seams that didn’t line up.
