Journal Notes

The pattern is based on a mosaic from a rich Roman‘s house from the third century in Tunisia. The original mosaic was in very bright colors, bright orange and bright teal. I figured out how to reproduce the pattern. The fabrics used all had a subtle Oakleaf and acorn motif so the pantograph used also echoed that motif.
