Journal Notes

This is a BOM quilt-along, based on the 12 Days of Christmas (that’s what sold it to me in October!) which I bought as a treat for myself. It uses the needle-turn appliqué technique, which I’m new to and I’m learning lots! Because it’s just for me, and uses solid colours, I foolishly scrimped a little on the fabric, which is a little see-through. Would have been better with the recommended Moda Grunge. I chose the colours to match the curtains in our lounge and they are quite ‘grungy’ too. Never mind, it will still be lovely.
