This was designed to be a lap size quilt to accompany my Kalidescope bed quilt and use up the scraps. I was enchanted by the curvy log cabin block, and since I loved this flower like arrangement, it needed to be 6 blocks square. To make the pattern, I made 8 blocks where the greens were large and 24 blocks where the pinks were large. I settled on 10" blocks for a nice sized lap quilt and designed it it EQ8. The finished size of the skinny logs were 3/4", and the big logs were 1 1/2". Did a flange binding and instead of stitching in the ditch, I used a decorative stitch to finish it off. Batting: Pellon All Natural Cotton Batting 1/16" Before washing: 60” X 60“. Show and tell Oct 2025
