I made a quilt in 2021 for my brother’s 60th birthday with a St. Kilda Football back (it was QAYG) and Ben strongly indicated that he wanted a quilt like it. This version is not QAYG, but is otherwise very similar with 9 black and white FQs, surrounded by red sashing, St. Kilda club motifs fussy-cut for the intersection block, an abbreviated version of the club song lyrics appliquéd in the borders and pieced corner blocks in the club red, white and black colours around more fussy-cut club motifs.
