Journal Notes

Jackie was a beloved quilter friend who didn’t keep a single quilt she made. It astounded me when I discovered this. She happily gave me a bag of scraps and orphaned blocks from her projects. I made this basket cozy for her, determined for her to have some remembrance of her beautiful, perfect piecing. She was so happy when she saw it! She passed away a few years ago and is greatly missed.
