Journal Notes

I found this piece of Alexander Henry fabric (Desert Sisters from 1996!) at Quilting for Community. Thus began my search for a quilt top to go with it. I didn't want to cut it up so it had to be backing. I'm not sure I've done it justice, though... Nothing fancy, just HSTs. Modified pattern to make it smaller. Colors are a bit much. Makes me think of a Hudson Bay blanket... Pattern from the book 'Quilting From Every Angle' 40x50
