Journal Notes

Piece by piece I hand pieced this insane quilt top. Using only scraps from the mountain i have accumulated over the past 40 years of making quilts, I enjoyed cutting the smallest of pieces and going down memory lane of quilts past. It was a very portable project and accompanied me to doctor appointments, rosd trips, plane rides and hospital bedsides. When my mind was racing, my needle and thread worked overtime to soothe my soul.
