8/10/26 When my dad dies a year and a half ago, I couldn’t part with his favor wing chair and ottoman. But the were pretty well used and I didn’t have a place for them in the house. I considered getting it reupholstered, but couldn’t find anyone to do it in town. So, inspired by the quilters in Winfield, KS, who upholstered their chairs in Kaffe Fasset, I decided to try it myself. The current photo is of my test on the ottoman. I’ve just finished cutting fabric for 72 12” squares for the chair itself. More to come.
