Journal Notes

I’ve never been so honored or moved about the life of this quilt. Oct 29th 2026 I was informed that Aunt Nell refused to sleep in the Convalescence Center without her Piggy Quilt. When I made the quilt I hadn’t thought of fidget items, but the piggy tails were alll braided additions that she would “fidget” between her fingers to fall asleep. So honored that the family laid her to her eternal rest with this quilt around her. Love was so deep!
