Just an experiment to use up random width strips. While working on my recent strip projects, I realized I had amassed quite a lot of long, narrow, cut off strips and thought this might be a way to use some up. It's not great and I got bored with it quickly but it did the job. I need a place to donate flimsies when I don't want to invest any more time and money into them... In retrospect, I think I should have made HSTs out of the blocks...next time 🙃 3/6/26 So, I just came across a project on this app that is very similar to what I've done (Not that I thought it was an original idea but just in case anyone is interested) It's a free pattern from Moda called Chill Out. It uses a Jelly Roll instead of scrap strips and no sashing but still very similar. Currently, about 38x38. Thinking about adding borders... Donated to LAMQG Oct '26
