I had been given some red bandana-y fabric that I thought was super ugly. At some point I cut it into squares but couldn’t figure out what to do with them or what other fabrics to use to tone down the ugliness. Eventually I landed on this gingham pattern but tried to break it up with the row of cow print in the border. Once I added that, my boys dubbed it the CFA quilt and I solidified the name by putting black and white cow print minky-like fabric on the back.
