May 2026... I found this pattern while cleaning the office and decided I needed to try it in an effort to use up more fabric from my stash. I wanted to stretch my sense of design by using some kind of crazy combinations. I'm looking forward to seeing how that pans out. The border may prove to be an issue... 5.4.26 - just the narrow green borders left. I think I may just leave the 3" border called for in the pattern off. It's already big enough anyway. 5.21.26. I decided to add the border after all. I cut it at 3", because I thought I'd run out of the border fabric if I cut it any wider. (I think it would have been better with that other half inch.) So the quilt ended up at 68" x 72". Which is larger than I've been making lately. Quilting will have to wait till I get a few other projects done.
