Journal Notes

Inspired by a quilt at an exhibition in Omaha. The pattern is no longer available for purchase so my daughter calculated measurements for cuts and wrote my instructions. I requested fabric ideas from important women in my life to be represented in this quilt by “their” block. For some, I chose what spoke to me to represent them, a memory, or a collective significance with blocks of favorite fabrics from my mom’s, daughter’s, and my stash. My hope is every woman can find themselves included here. Top done 6/10/25. Quilted September 2025 by Emme. Really proud of this one! ❤️
