Journal Notes

I had so many strips of leftover sashing, birders and binding, I knew I had to do something with them. I just started sewing them together randomly like a jelly roll race. I had enough to cut I. Half to make two nice lap quilts. I quilted this one using my embroidery machine to place hummingbirds and flowers (two of my mom’s favorites) across the quilt. It was given to her for her birthday one year and I got it back when she passed. She used it a lot!
