Needing a baby quilt by November. I need to get in front of this one since I will be gone for 6 weeks between now and then. As I normally do….I tend to alter patterns and learn something new. The fabric I chose has many Owls. My thought is to make applique Owls on the white blocks using minky, “crunchy feet, and who knows! Waiting for my delivery from Amazon today with the material to add to the owl feet that will make them crunchy. I decided to make the owls tactile in a soft way. I made 5 all different. I took an owl from the fabric and enlarged it until it was the correct size for the quilt. I appliquéd the owls to the 14” square. I will post the top once I get the feet finished. I also changed the center white square to pink and added pick sashing to all these squares.
