Pattern is not a typical block pattern but rather a row pattern and the new quilter in me 10+ years ago when I cut this out wasn’t prepared for how mentally painful this would be. It’s actually not too bad but I wasn’t up for the challenge back then… and laying out a quilt on the floor with little kids around is a challenge I also didn’t want to tackle. Started piecing rows on 12.31.24.
