Just before Ben and Destiney took off on their cross-country road trip, I worked tirelessly through the night to finish this piece in time. This was the very first quilt I ever made—a meaningful labor of love for my firstborn. Stitched into the fabric is a label that reads: “Covering you with prayer, Love Mom 2020.”
