My husband came in and asked if I would make him a quilt “today” 😂 our cat loves quilts and had stopped sitting in his lap so he was trying to get her back. I’d thought about the cabin fever quilt for a bit - with a fat quarter bundle I have. So I was like repeating big blocks and not that many fabric. I had him pick from my collection and then ran to the quilt store to get solids. Tried to keeep everything very simple - even the backing is solid so no pattern matching and was able to pieces and assemble in 2 days! It’s been at the long armer since the following week and I get to pick up on 10/8 to bind!
