My sister recommended using this pattern for a beautiful layer cake in a fabric line called Sister Bay, and I love how it turned out. I needed a few more dark triangles, so I added a few solids and then used the leftover fabric to create a pieced border because I do not like square quilts in bed sizes (which is what the original pattern was). The pattern went together very quickly!
