I made my own pattern which was a lot of fun but also a lot of math and remath to get the most out of a shirt that I could since each design on each shirt was a different size. Also I originally started with the plan of 1/2” seams, but then as I have been more involved in the quilting world I have realized 1/4” is the norm, so I adjusted to that so I had more margins around some of the shirt designs. Didn’t realize when I first was making my pattern that my pattern is just one large block and could not be broken up, so I had to add piece by piece and had to sew a lot of t-seams and then sew the rest of the piece together as more other pieces were added. First time working with interfacing as well which was fun. Fun project and even more special keepsake!
