Some fabrics just tell a story the moment you find them. When I came across this vintage tablecloth with its nostalgic canoeing and fishing scenes, I knew it needed a topper to match its era. I paired vintage-style ginghams, deep plaids, and tea-dyed muslin to create a warm, rustic patchwork top. To lean into the vintage cabin vibe, I stitched a functional checkerboard into the piece and made a matching drawstring bag for the game pieces. It’s built for warm drinks, rainy afternoon games, and lakehouse memories.
