Journal Notes

Another fun bag by Jess Barrera! The charade pattern has two sizes and this is the smaller one. The goal was two-fold: work on bag-making proficiency (see Emma bag post) and make something I might actually use! I have now used this twice because it actually WAS nice to have when I attended the play last weekend and when I got a manicure. I carry a clutch and having a place to put my keys and sunglasses in a venue or small space was a new luxury! Why didn’t I do this before?! It will be nice walking around displays, too. If I were to make another I would make it a bit wider, just enough to hold a small water bottle. The larger version of the pattern would be bigger than I want for this type of thing. Might be one in the future though. Interesting working with the cork. PS. Looks like I fussy cut the fabric but I didn’t!
