Confession. I have made a quilt for a dog. I am not an animal person. All the dogs in my growing up life were outside animals. But when my kids adopted Winston, I learned the joys of a lapdog. Winston, liked laying on my rag quilts when he visited our house, so I decided to make him his own. I think this is one of the cutest rag quilts I’ve ever made. Cliff and I had a great time selecting all the various doggy fabrics. I thought we were done, but then we found another rack of flannel! Super fun shopping. I didn’t put batting in this one, so it’s nice and light. The kids use it all the time it’s almost in every picture of my grand puppy and then later when my grandson Malcolm came along, he liked it too.
