Saved this quilt for 4 years. I wanted to do some special quilting. I was learning to longarm and started with a very light thread in Bobbin, then changed to thread that blended with the back. Looked much nicer, but I didn’t rip out the lighter thread since I had already completed an entire border. Maybe that is why it didn’t earn a prize at the State Fair in 2025. Made matching pillowcases and gave as a 15th wedding anniversary present to Georgena and Chris.
