Journal Notes

I am making stars of different sizes (made out of a Michael Miller 10” stack) and on a white with gray polka dot background. Background fabric purchased during Joann’s going out of business sale, and I’ve had the 10” stack of rainbow fabrics for just ever. I don’t remember if I purchased it or if it was in a giveaway… Now it’s time to start to cut & sew! 5-20: top is pieced other than the outer border, which I am using some ombre gelato for. Gonna be super cute! 5-31: quilt top finished! I ended up using the wrong side of the ombre gelato for the border as the right side was just too bright and a bit of the wrong colors. The wrong sides are obviously muted and makes the colors look like they go better with the stars. 38x48
