I found the Mermaid Fleece at JoAnn's on clearance before they closed down & the Peacock panel at Burkholder's on a Stitching Retreat. The rest came from my stash, purchased at various places. Will be pieced on one side and fleece on the other. My Mom loves Mermaids and Peacocks so this was fun to design for her. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Spring '26. I really wanted to finish this to comfort her. Her Birthday is in September so I can't wait to present it to her. Went through several versions of the outer border layer. Quilted with feather and wave like stitches to echo the theme of the fabric. Thrilled that the binding came together without toomuch difficulty. My handy husband even 3D printed binding strip wraps. 62 3/4" X 44 1/2"
