Journal Notes

My stash of 2 1/2" squares is getting a bit out of control. I had enough blue multiples to make this. It's only 32x32 so I'm thinking about sashing but I don't have any more of the fabric I used for white so ...what to use? So far, all from stash and I don't want to buy more fabric. Maybe a light blue that I haven't used in the 4 patches? Hmmm... On point? Need to do a bit of rearranging to balance color better, too. All scrap/stash fabrics except backing which I bought on sale (50% off!) At Cotton & Chocolate. The blocks were actually 16 patches. Interesting how sometimes one's work disappears. Because of the way I decided to assemble this, I might have done blue 4 patches and 4" white squares! Ah well. I'm over it. LOL
