Here I go, diving headlong into bag making!I’ve made several bags but not to the level as this one with internal zippers, lining and use of faux leather as contrast. It was fun! This is an ironic quest, as I don’t really use bags much. I carry a clutch; have never owned a purse; use totes for shopping but already have a zillion. So why would I make this?! Mom’s jackets. I’m embracing reuse of fabrics in old clothes in general, but using mom and dad’s clothes make for memories. This was testing the pattern and also dipping my toe into more advanced bag making so I don’t completely muck it up when I do actually use the jackets. I really do like how this bag turned out but for the life of me don’t know when, how or why I would use it so eventually it will be a gift for someone.
