Journal Notes

Kenny asked me to make this quilt as a gift for Charles featuring all his band shirts since he was in high school. (There are two from other bands) Kenny did all the leg work to contact family and friends to donate all the shirts. We collected all of them at Emily’s wedding and I started the quilt in February. Kenny chose the fabrics over FaceTime with me while I shopped. He and I chose the backing together on line. I finished piecing on March 23, 2026. I picked up the quilt from the quilter on April 25, 2026…I love the music note quilt pattern, it ties everything together. The backing fabric is especially beautiful with the pops of corral/copper in the cactus flowers. I now need to make the binding and bind the quilt and also make the pillow cases to go with the quilt. Should have no problem finishing before camping trip in June when we all get together 🤞
