Journal Notes

I just had to have this panel when it came out a couple of years ago. I used 5 of the panel pieces in a quilt, but hung on to this last one. It features my Confirmation verse, Colossians 3:2. I discovered that the Everyday Quilted Tote pattern featured a front pocket that was almost a perfect size match to my panel, so I modified the dimensions of the pocket just a tiny bit, and it still fit the front of the bag just fine :) I also had been gifted a bunch of 5" squares from the same line, and made 2 patchwork panels for the front and back. I also found the perfect amount of AGF Chocolate in my stash to use for the accent, so it's practically a free bag, right? :)
