Journal Notes

This started as a way to use leftover small hst trimmed to 2-1/2 inches. I added scraps from my stash as well as mini charm packs to reach 1,280 squares. I backed it in flannel with no batting to make a lightweight blanket. My general thought was a tribute to our grandmothers who used whatever fabric they could find to make blankets to keep the family warm. The squares aren’t perfect, the seams aren’t consistent and that’s ok.
