Journal Notes

The cross stitch squares of this quilt and pattern were donated to our club. The squares were already finished. The pattern called for simple sashing between the cross stitched pieces. Just to boring and dated for my taste. I felt the pinwheels and the yellow with the teal green adds to the retro feel and design. Need to now set this aside for a few days while I begin a baby quilt that is due for a niece in November. May begin quilting this one intermittently.
