Pictures need to be taken of the finished quilt yet. Charter member of our quilt guild passed away. Her daughter donated all of her mother’s quilt supplies, UFO’s, unfinished blocks, etc. to our guild. Vivian had started embroidery of the presidential blocks sometime after 2001, we believe. For reasons unknown she never finished the quilt. The blocks, muslin, embroidery thread, and the pattern book. This project was too interesting and a little out of the ordinary to not pick it up to finish. Lynda and I have grown to love this quilt. We hope to donate it to a museum or organization that will take care of it. Definitely not a quilt one would use every day. We have blocks in the quilt top for all the presidents up through present.
