Journal Notes

I downloaded this free pattern from Fat Quarter Shop and thought it would work great with some nautical fabrics. The finished blocks look almost like a mariners compass. This one was fun, and was a great warmup to using my Alaska ruler and prepping to make the more challenging Alaska quilt.
