Journal Notes

This was a really fun project, using various techniques. The pattern was from The Quilt Show.com BOM 2023, Homeward Bound by Sarah Fielke. I kept up with the blocks each month so finished it on time. After completeing, including quilting, I washed it only to discover a purple color area ran. I carefully took out about a 10” section (including quilting )and re-did it. Sewed it back in, bound the area, and put it back on the long arm and re- quilted. After all that work I couldn’t not fix it. Took it to Lyon county fair 2025 and it won sweepstakes. Prize money was about $20. Husband figured I made $.0025 an hour but I was happy at any price.
