I did not follow the designer but used her idea to make a variety of patchwork squares from my Etsy quilt shop stash. Then adding borders, I created an applique pattern for the four sides. I usually spend 1 year to design and complete a quilt, but this one took a little longer since I was very sick for about 6 weeks and sewing was only happening in my Etsy shop.
