Jackie Kastle won this at a family auction. It was made by long deceased family members. The top was decently made, but whoever quilted it had done an absolutely horrible job. It looked like they had never used a sewing machine before. It was so bad. It was loosely quilted and some tie quilted too. I took it apart and repaired what was coming apart and put a whole new backing on it. And some small borders too. It was uneven and crooked, I just did what I could do without changing it. I thought that the crooked, uneven edges were just part of the charm of a family memory.
