Journal Notes

I invited my daughter Pyper to join in my little adventure. I had found 2 new flannel twin flat sheets at the goodwill store. I thought they would be great backs for a quilt. I then found fabric at Walmart that matched perfectly. Because I am such a novice I wanted to start inexpensively not wanting to feel too badly if the quilts did not turn out perfect. We pieced them together exactly the same. I chose a E2E design that matched the outdoor look of the fabric… bears, trees, deer and acorns. The matching quilts turned out far better than I could have imagined being that neither of us knew what we were doing. I’ve used the quilt a lot already as I attend my grandsons soccer and football games.
