Journal Notes

I was looking for my kindle case this morning before heading out to get my car serviced. Then I remembered it was stolen (with my last kindle inside of it!) at the hospital. So...time to attempt the Hemingway Pouch! I've had the pattern for a while but this is my first go at it. I can see I should have done the piecing differently but we'll call this a prototype. 😀 I like the back better than the zip side and it's quite a bit bigger than I'd like it to be. I made the medium size which is supposed to be for e-readers but I guess mine is smaller than the norm? It fits... I'd just like it to fit better. Do I dare modify the pattern?? So...I made a second one. Happier. That bottom inside corner is a problem with so many layers. Need to figure out a way to reduce that bulk. This was a LOT easier than I expected.
