Grandma started it. I finished it. Mom made it fancy. My aunt found this project my Grandma Charlene started in 2009. Due to macular degeneration, she lost her ability to do one of her favorite things: sew and quilt. She never finished this. Fast forward to 2026 and I decided “how hard could it be?” Note to self: appliqué flowers are HARD. But I could see her vision and wanted to finish it. Bring it full circle and my mom quilted it. 3 generations. One quilt.
