Journal Notes

This was my first “real quilt”, not counting table runners, t-shirt quilts, etc. I didn’t know much about patterns or cutting fabric, fabric quality, etc. U began gathering fat quarters, mostly from Jo-Ann’s, and kind of thought up the pattern in my own head; although I’m sure I saw something similar somewhere or it is an actual pattern. I have been a scrapbooker for years so I love color and design. I didn’t know how to do a binding so I had my quilter put on the binding too. I have done all my own bindings since then. It is my most used quilt. I often throw it in the car to have on hand when we travel.
