Journal Notes

Originally, I made this quilt for Patti as a thank you for allowing Pat and I to stay in her Mendocino beach house with her sister Susan (and her Mark) in April of 2020. Unfortunately, Covid hit, and we didn't get to go. More unfortunately, the first chance I had to gift this to Patti in person was at Susan's funeral. She loved it, but both of us wished we'd been at her beach house. I used a mini charm pack for the centers. The peach and black were some yardage I had purchased on clearance. The Square in a Square on the back was an effort to make the best use of the leftover yardage.
