I bought the squares from the thrift store, including some in denim. I also cut up some old jeans to add large triangles to the edges, and some red gingham to break up the postage stamps. I named it The Farmer’s Daughter because it’s sturdy, cozy and little feminine. Some of the flannel has daisies and it also has plaid flannel, my fave. I was awarded a 1st place ribbon at the September 2026 Washington County Free Fair in the category “recycled.”
