Journal Notes

I purchased the materials in Georgetown while I was at the Dexter oaks quilt retreat, May 16, 2026, and fussy cut out the characters. The Toy Story fabric was from Michael’s. The remaining material is from mom’s stash. I started sewing it together May 24, 2026. I modified the pattern by using the fussy cut squares instead of a white four patch. The modified version worked well. I cut 4 1/2” squares so I cut jelly roll sets if three strips in 4 1/2” and 10 1/2” sizes for the lattice. Quilt top finished on June 6, 2026. Renee finished the quilting on June 30, 2026. I finished the binding on July 24, 2026.
