I scaled the pattern down to 63% of original so it could be printed on my home printer. I made the original version in 2020 and forgot some of the nuances. The scaling down didn’t provide too many issues and I managed to remember to accurately cut all the seam allowances. I had all the planes pieced and then put the top together at a quilt retreat. I plan to quilt ghost planes in the negative space and am hoping my FMQ / ruler skills are up to the task. I’m not sure if I’ll try to mark out the planes or try to print them and quilt through the paper. I hope I don’t have to do that.
