Journal Notes

Love this quilt! I found the backing first then chose the solids for the top. All Art Gallery fabrics. This pattern is available with a membership to Alderwood studios. Pattern is written for a two color quilt. Not for the faint of heart. Only complaint: pattern illustrations show points where edges of block meet sashing. Due to the way the quilt is assembled (blocks cut and put on point) there is no way to have points where sashing is joined to the blocks. This is uniform throughout the quilt so not a big deal - just not illustrated accurately in pattern/instruction images. Long bias edges need to be handled with extreme care.
